I wasn't sure where to post this, but this seemed the best part of the forum...

Horror author F. Paul Wilson wrote a story, "Faces", where several victims (all women), are found with their
faces cut off their heads. A detective investigating the murders discovers the perpetrator is a psychotic mutant woman with huge claws and a Lovecraftian face. Investigating further, it turns out the woman is one of several mutants born around the same date in 1968, all of whose mothers were present at an event nine months earlier...

I know it seems kind of irrelevant, but does anyone find this worth remarking on? (Because the stuff F. Paul Wilson writes is a hell of a lot like the X-Files.)
